Is santadotfe affiliated with an MLM or pyramid scheme?
No, the company that supplies our essential oil products is a Direct Selling Company. Direct sellers do not earn nothing for recruiting or getting members to enroll or sign-up. A Wellness Advocate only earn when they or someone in their downline sells products.
Legitimate direct selling companies seek to make money with you as you build your business and theirs by selling real products. The investment for start-up with these companies is minimal. While earning potential increases with recruitment, it is not a requirement.
Multilevel marketing (MLM), used by many direct selling companies, is a legitimate business model. In a multilevel system, sellers earn money based on the sale of products and services--either those they make personally or those made by others who they train and mentor.
Pyramid schemes are illegal in all 50 states. They are scams that make money from you versus from the sale of products and services. Those at the top of the pyramid make money from recruitment. New recruits are charged substantial buy-in fees with no actual products or services to sell.
