![]() Today, I started an essential oil regimen to help with my chronic sinusitis. In addition to my medications, which aren't helping much lately, essential oils will become part of my everyday routine to stay clear, alert, and breathing. Here is the regimen I started today featuring the dynamic trio of: lemon, lavender and peppermint ...
shower or bath?Step 4 of the daily regimen winds down for an evening of restful healing. If you are not sure whether to shower or bathe, maybe the tips below will help you decide. A shower, instead of a bath, is the best choice if you have been outdoors. It may not be visible, but pollen can stick to hair and can make you uncomfortable and restless through the night. If you have a tub-shower combo, run the bath until the water is warm, plug up the tub to fill the bath by an inch or so, add a drop or two of peppermint, stepping inside and switching to the shower setting. The aroma from the peppermint will help clear your sinuses and your feet will get a special treat. A bath before bed can be luxurious and healthy. Make your own bath salt -- start with a 1/4 to 1/2 a cup of epsom salt and two drops of peppermint (for extra sinus relief and to soothe tired feet) or lavender for a relaxing, spa-like experience. next journal entry ...Expect another blog, or journal entry, in a few weeks where I will share my progress, challenges, and rewards as the new regimen continues. I will be adding Breathe and other essential oils and blends to the mix and experimenting with techniques such as diffusing. Wish me luck for success and wellness. buy the trioVisit my essential wellness store and click on Shop for Products for more information about these and other essential oils for living.
