What to do with leftover ingredients from todays Tiramisu recipe? The leftovers: two crisp biscotti savoiardi, more commonly known as lady fingers, and a bowl of lucious espresso laced with brandy and pure vanilla.
1. Heat the remaining espresso mixture
2. Steam milk or half and half
Optionally add essential oils to the steamed milk or espresso mixture. My choice for essential oils that best compliment the Tiramisu flavors of espresso and cocoa: Myrrh (especially on a rainy or chilly day), Wild Orange (adds a bright zest; great choice for warmer seasons).
3. Top the coffee with the steamed milk
4. Serve with the leftover biscotti ~ dusting the steam milk and the biscotti with cocoa
